I suggest cutting out the pads individually before placing on the paw pads. My old man has issues with his hind legs so I decided to try these out on all this paws. When they stayed on it was great- he didn’t slip and had stability. However one time he went potty outside and half came off. Not to mention the ones that came off just from him walking and getting comfortable overnight.
I’d still recommend this product because you can always keep applying the stickers to where they need help and that’s what I’ve been doing now and they will last me a while because I cut them.

I ordered these for my 15 year-old Dachshund who has IVDD and weakness in her hind legs. They worked well to help with her stability and she was able to stand on our tile floors without falling. They also helped keep her paws warm when going out in the ice and snow and gave her extra traction. Her Vet saw them and asked where I had gotten them and what brand they were. She was impressed with the fit and how well Sophie walked with them. She had some patients she was going to recommend that they get these as well.

Even better then before! This is a new version and they are perfect, better fit, more traction. Our dog wears these everyday!

These really do help keep our dog from slipping. I wish they would stay on longer, but they need to be a thin material so the pads can ‘breathe’. This process is a commitment, but it’s worth it for sure. They go on pretty easily. We do not put them on whole and we do not cut out the individual pad pieces – we do a bit of a hybrid. We cut in between (prior to peeling off the backing) so there is a bit more give as we affix the material to each pad. It really helps. One thing to note – follow the directions when removing – you MUST get the pad protectors wet and wait at least a minute or two before you GENTLY work to remove them. Once they start to loosen, removal is quite easy. We use treats and our dog is fine with this process. We like to think he knows we are trying to help him.

Our Boston Terrier suffers from a neurological disorder and her back legs are becoming very weak. These paw protectors provide a bit of traction for her on our hardwood floors. Without them, she will often “Bambi”. (Remember the scene with Bambi on ice for the first time when his legs each sprawl out in a different direction?) They last about a day or two, unless it’s wet outside. They have been a huge help keeping her mobile without us worried that she’s stranded on the floor. They are very easy to put on and she doesn’t even seem to know they are there…although she does get a bit of a spring in her step when she feels sure-footed!

These really helped my elderly dog keep from slipping on tile floors. He had gotten to the point his back legs would slide outwards and he’d end up with his butt on the floor with not enough traction to get back up. I only used these on his back feet as that was the issue. When he had them on there was no more sliding.

They lasted about two days before coming off. If I hadn’t have needed to cut them down so much and had more surface area I think they would have stuck longer. Also it was a really wet summer. (I had to fiddle with the sizing because English Setters have long, narrow feet.)

They are made of KT tape printed with some sort of grippy material.

Our 12 year old dog slips on our hard floors and this product helps give her more secure footing. Without them it would be terrible but with them it’s pretty good. I don’t know how to improve the adhesive qualities but between running outside when it’s wet and back inside, the adhesion doesn’t last but a few days. I’m glad the adhesive is non-toxic, and maybe that’s why there isn’t a stronger one out there. So we’ll just keep going through them because they do help her. And I do keep the Furrer between her pads trimmed low to make sure the adhesive has every chance of working better also. Something other dog owners hopefully are doing with their dogs that are using this product. That little tip will help.

OK so I’ve tried all the little shoes for dogs and the socks for dogs and my dog hates it he walks like he’s walking on volcanic fire but these just go on his little pads and he didn’t even know they were there, I threw the ball down our hardwood hallway and the first time he ran expecting to slide and I could see in his face on the way back that he realized he now has traction, the second time I threw the ball he went for it full speed and I was really surprised how well these worked, they didn’t come off they didn’t roll up on the edges when he came to a quick stop but when we went outside on the wet ground they came off immediately so don’t use it in wet weather and if you want to get them off just get them wet because I had a really hard time getting them off later when he did not get them wet, one suggestion is to trim the hair between your dogs pads before you put them on and don’t bother cutting the pads i to little circles like they show because the pads are very stretchy so you can stretch it on and push it down in the middle of his pad and they stick like magic, because they stick so god it’s also hard to peal off the paper wish they had made a little tab but whatever still worth it big time.

These pads were easy to put on. They would stay on several days. however if my dog walked in wet grass or these pads got wet they would get loose and come off. They had good traction. My 18 yr old mini dachshund liked me o put them on because she knew she could walk so much better. The amount supplied in bag was appropriate.

These grip pads are great. We tried the shoes, boots and socks for our Yorkie and they were just clumsy for him, and he shook them off. These stick pads are easy to apply and he doesn’t even notice they are on. They last 24 hours if he goes outside for a walk on rough surfaces, but about 48 hours if he stays inside. he’s able to get up now on our tile and laminate flooring.
